FineMolds 1/350 IJN Destroyer Sagiri
RM 279.00
As one of the ships of the Fubuki class of destroyers, the Sagiri was one of the Type II versions of the class, like the Ayanami (FineMolds FW3).
Upon service entry in 1931, the Sagiri saw action in the Sino-Japanese war and the Malayan campaign as an escort ship.
The Sagiri was the first Type II destroyer to be lost during the war when she was torpedoed by a Dutch submarine on 24 December 1941, off the coast of Kuching, Malaya.
This model represents the Sagiri as she appeared before the war, with her name written in katakana on the port side.
